Warm up your holidays with Sabajón Colombiano
Try a dirty twist on Colombia’s classic eggnog
The holidays are here! Sabajón Colombiano is Colombia’s version of the iconic Christmas cocktail. Simple to make and great to share, this bold Sello Version features Aguardiente and a shot of coffee to keep you going through the holiday season. ¡Salud!
Los Ingredientes
- 4 egg yolks
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup aguardiente or rum
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Ground cinnamon
- 1 shot of our Fuerte Blend
Las instrucciones
- In a bowl, whisk egg yolks and sugar until smooth.
- Heat milk and cream in a saucepan over medium heat until hot but not boiling.
- Slowly whisk the hot milk mixture into the eggs.
- Return the mixture to the saucepan and cook over low heat, stirring until it thickens (about 5 minutes).
- Add in the shot of coffee for an extra kick.
- Remove from heat, stir in aguardiente and vanilla extract.
- Pour into glasses and sprinkle with cinnamon.
